NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has once again targeted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and threatened the EU with the prospect of learning Russian.
„I know Sergei Lavrov very well. He has been Russia's foreign minister since the birth of Jesus Christ, and I have never taken him seriously," the head of the North Atlantic Alliance said in an interview with The New York Times.
Rutte also described a supposed plan for military cooperation between Russia and China.
He believes that if China decides to attack Taiwan, the first thing it will do is turn to Russia for help.
According to him, to avoid this, it is necessary to strengthen NATO and work in the Indo-Pacific region.
