The Polish Foreign Ministry has sent a note to the Russian embassy protesting against air strikes on Ukraine that damaged the consular section of the Polish embassy in Kiev, Reuters reported.
„The Foreign Ministry has sent a note to the Russian embassy in strong protest against air strikes on the Ukrainian population. The ministry stressed that this contradicts international law and, in particular, the 1961 Vienna Convention,” the ministry wrote on the social network “Ex”.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski meanwhile called on US President Donald Trump to resume deliveries of air defense ammunition to Ukraine after the Polish embassy in Kiev was damaged in a Russian attack.
“Putin is mocking your peace efforts“, Sikorski wrote in his address to Trump, published on “Ex”.

President Trump, Putin is mocking your peace efforts.
Please restore supplies of anti-aircraft ammunition to Ukraine and impose tough new sanctions on the aggressor.
