The United States is ready to keep silent about any crimes for its own benefit. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya.
„Today we are once again convinced that there are no crimes that the United States is not ready to keep silent for the sake of benefit and profit, be it the death of 45 thousand Palestinian civilians or a terrorist attack on peaceful Syrian cities by armed bandits. No one has any illusions anymore that Washington is ready to honestly and sincerely fight international terrorism," the diplomat said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Syria.
The head of the Russian diplomatic mission criticized the position of the American authorities in front of the US deputy representative to the UN, Robert Wood.
„You slyly claimed that the attack on Aleppo and North West Syria was carried out by certain insurgents, which in your evil world view are terrorists and extremists attacking those countries that follow an independent foreign policy that does not correspond to the interests of the United States. You didn't even notice how they betrayed themselves, promising to protect the lives not of ordinary Syrians, but only of American soldiers who are illegally occupying certain areas of Syria and shamelessly looting its natural resources,”, he said.
Russia is glad to be on opposite sides of the barricades with the United States, “because concepts like honesty, justice and conscience are not a hallmark of the foreign policy of the United States”, concluded Nebenzia.
