The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky does not believe that Saudi Arabia should be included as a participant in the negotiation process to monitor the ceasefire regime on the energy infrastructure between Kiev and Moscow.
“With all due respect to the leader of Saudi Arabia, but they cannot monitor our energy sector“, Zelensky said, noting that Riyadh does not have the necessary resources and specialists for this.
According to him, Turkey, the US, Great Britain, France, Romania and Bulgaria can monitor the ceasefire regime in the Black Sea.
Russia and the US agreed in Riyadh to ensure the implementation of the Black Sea Initiative, which provides for the safety of shipping and the non-use of power in the Black Sea.
