The Ukrainian armed forces attacked the Russian city of Kursk with drones last night. An 85-year-old woman was killed and nine other people were injured.
This was reported in its Telegram channel by the Regional Operational Headquarters.
"The family of the deceased will be provided with all necessary assistance. Nine people were injured, they received abrasions, head injuries, burns. Doctors will provide the necessary assistance," the message says.
As a result of targeted drone strikes, fires broke out in several buildings. It is noted that a fire broke out on five floors of an apartment building on “Orlovskaya“ Street and on one of the floors of a building on Veszpremskaya Street. Emergency Situations Ministry employees are working at the scene. In one of the residential buildings on Zavodskaya Street, the 8th and 9th floors were damaged by a fire that has been localized.
In addition, three private houses were damaged by drone strikes.
One of the attacks hit an ambulance garage, damaging 11 cars. Kursk authorities evacuated residents of a building damaged as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces in one of the schools.
