A second group of Russian servicemen returned from captivity in Ukraine today in yet another exchange of prisoners of war between the two countries, the Defense Ministry in Moscow announced, quoted by the Russian news agency Interfax, BTA reports.

Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners of war yesterday, with the returnees including wounded and seriously injured servicemen, as well as soldiers under the age of 25.

The exchange, announced by both sides, is the result of direct talks in Istanbul on June 2, when Russia and Ukraine agreed to release at least 1,200 prisoners of war each and return thousands of bodies of killed servicemen. These are two of the few things that Kiev and Moscow have managed to agree on. More broadly, the talks between them have failed to bring an end to the war, which has been going on for four years, Reuters notes.
