Ukrainian large-scale operations on Russian territory will continue, Ukrinform reported, citing the words of the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky in his traditional address to the nation this evening, BTA reported.
If the aggressor state prolongs the war, it will meet a fair response, he added.
Zelensky noted that he had received a report from the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Vasyl Malyuk.
"I want to express my gratitude for our large-scale operations on Russian territory. Their effect is significant. And each of them is tangible for the enemy. And our operations will continue - Russia is prolonging the war, so it will receive fair answers," said the Ukrainian head of state.
At the same time, he recalled that this week the SSU has carried out a number of actions aimed at people involved in undermining Ukraine's national security. This includes the detection of a Russian agent embedded in the Ukrainian Air Force and a former employee of the Ministry of Defense who tried to benefit from food supplies for the army.
"All our law enforcement agencies - and everyone who holds a post whose task is to protect our state and our people - must all achieve results for Ukraine. For all of us. For our Ukraine to survive. For justice in Ukraine. For the protection of Ukraine," Zelensky pointed out.
