"We saw political tension and division. We do not agree“. This was stated by MGERB chairman Nikola Skorcheliev in his first comment after the provocations last night in Sofia, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
"Young people should be an expression of freedom, be the voice by which things should happen. But not to be crushed, but not to be shattered. We saw political tension, an expression of division in society. We do not agree with this whole thing, since it is the young people who should unite and show how things should happen", he noted.
In his words, they should not be a tool in the hands of political leaders. "We do not want tension and aggression", the chairman of MGERB is categorical.
When asked whether a resignation will be submitted, the organization replied that the voice of the protesters must be heard. A decision and comment from the GERB headquarters are expected later. "The voice of the protesters will certainly be heard and wait later. Maybe these days there will be an answer in which you will understand what will happen", MGERB said.
Representatives of the youth organization categorically stated that they had nothing to do with the organization of the protest and definitely had nothing to do with the provocateurs. "Would we have broken into our own office if this had happened? The biggest problem is that a few years ago some people began to instill the voice of hatred in society. The division between young people leads to this.", the structure said.
Skorcheliev also said that the police did their job very well. As you can see, they did not intervene, they were not provoked in any way. "We can only thank the law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees, for their reaction so that the tension would not be further increased. Because there is no way to respond to aggression with aggression.", he emphasized.
