Representatives of the Ministry of Interior and Prosecutor's Office provide information on the progress of the investigation into the "Petrohan" case.

“We are investigating a case without analogues in our country“, Zahari Vassilev, Director of the General Directorate of the National Police, told BNT.

The investigation into the deaths of those wanted in the case in the "Petrohan" hut continues. The shot bodies of Ivaylo Kalushev, Nikolay Zlatkov and a 15-year-old boy were found in a camper in the forest near Vratsa yesterday. They were missing for 7 days after the triple murder in the hut.

The searches continued throughout the night. The report about the discovered bodies was filed on Sunday morning by a man who was walking around the area around Mount Vola. The Ministry of Interior stated that it has been established that there was a shooting inside the camper. Investigators have also found weapons, but a ballistics examination will only determine which of them was used to carry out the shooting.

At exactly 3:30 p.m., a briefing by representatives of the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Interior began on the progress of the investigation into the case of the "Petrohan" chalet, which has already become one of the darkest criminal dramas in recent years.

The deputy appellate prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecutor's Office - Sofia Natalia Nikolova and the district prosecutor of Sofia Region Hristina Lulcheva spoke to the media, along with representatives of the Ministry of Interior. The information was confirmed by the press centers of the prosecutor's office and the interior ministry.

After the discovery of the bodies of Ivaylo Kalushev, his 23-year-old close friend Nikolay Zlatkov and 15-year-old Alexander Makulev, the "Petrokhan" case continues to raise more and more questions. The three had been missing since January 29, and the number of bodies found has now reached six.

The circumstances surrounding their deaths, as well as the role of the hut and the people who were there, remain unclear and the subject of an active investigation. It is expected that new facts and details will be presented at the briefing to shed light on what happened.

The case has caused a strong public outcry and raised worrying questions about security, control and the response of institutions in similar situations.
