ITN demands the resignation of the acting Interior Minister Emil Dechev. This was stated by Toshko Yordanov to journalists in the National Assembly.
„We demand his resignation. This is a person from the PP-DB, who is covering up their connections with the "Petrohan" case. The acting cabinet is uncontrolled – the PP-DB made it that way,“ he said.
Toshko Yordanov asked why Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev lied that he only gave 70-80 thousand leva as a donation to the deceased in the "Petrohan" chalet Ivaylo Ivanov.
Yordanov stated that during a hearing in parliament, Dechev said that he would not fire the investigators in the "Petrohan" case.
„He lied. He started firing people from the Ministry of Interior who are directly related to the investigations. They cannot reach the prosecutor's office, but they can hinder the investigation by removing the people involved in it. Plamen Tomov - head of the Ministry of Interior in Montana - was removed. This is the RPU, which issued permits during the time of Boyko Rashkov. Tihomir Tsenov from the ODMVR-Sofia, who are investigating the "Petrohan" case, was also dismissed. Boyan Raev was fired from the GDBOP. Chief Commissioner Zahari Vaskov, who is directly involved in the case and provided information that Emil Dechev had called Papalezov to meet at a restaurant, has also been removed, Toshko Yordanov said.

Toshko Yordanov said that the responsibility also lies with President Iliana Yotova. "She appointed them by law, she can also fire them and replace them," he is categorical.
