If the Bulgarian European Prosecutor feels threatened by the Prosecutor General, the city prosecutor and a political leader, this speaks badly. But we had another such case. Regarding the removal of Ivan Geshev, the current acting Prosecutor General had stated that he feared for his life.

That is, at this level, an attribute of disputes is resolved with personal threats. What is important is to clarify the truth and this is part of the battle.

This was said by Andrey Gyurov's chief of staff Rumyana Bachvarova in the studio of “Na fokus”.

Bachvarova also commented on the government's actions to evacuate Bulgarian citizens affected by the conflict in the Middle East. She said that at the moment, around 3,000 people are expected to be evacuated. “There has never been such a case before. At the beginning, when we faced the situation, there was no coordination mechanism for action.

The caretaker prime minister held a meeting in which the logic of the work was determined. This gave results after a few hours. The goal is to evacuate all Bulgarians who want to leave,” Bachvarova also explained.

Bachvarova was categorical that the government is monitoring the military actions. And she stressed that Bulgaria benefits from NATO's collective defense.

Regarding the American planes that are stationed at the airport in Sofia, Bachvarova said that this has already been clarified, but is being used in political battles. She pointed out that the planes are not intended for military operations, this has already been said, and anyone who claims the opposite is not sufficiently informed.

Bachvarova was categorical that there will be no change in the Ministry of Defense. This comment comes against the backdrop of Atanas Zapryanov's meeting with Boyko Borisov.

She added that Andrey Gyurov has clearly expressed his position of disapproval on this case.

Bachvarova also commented on the reshuffles in the Ministry of Interior. She pointed out that the team that is now in the department is working very well. According to her, the change in the regional directorates was expected and “whoever had come would have done this”.

Regarding the resignation of the acting Minister of MRDPW - Angelina Boneva, Bachvarova said that there was a stated desire on her part to leave the post. “The story is very personal, there is no pressure”, she was categorical. The expectations are that her place will be taken by one of the deputy ministers - Nikolay Nikolov, the spokesperson said.

Bachvarova said that many roads pass through the NRA that lead to opportunities to compromise the elections.

Bachvarova said that she does not understand why the parties that will enter the election campaign attack the acting cabinet and perceive it as their opponent as if it were a political project. “Our categorical ambition is to hold fair elections”, said the head of the cabinet “Gyurov”.
