President Rumen Radev's meetings with potential prime ministers have ended. On Friday evening, he told Nova TV that the consultations helped him make a decision.
"I will announce my selection hopefully soon. The conversations made it a lot easier for me," said Radev.
On Thursday at "Dondukov" 2 the head of state spoke with the Speaker of the National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkov, the governor of the Bulgarian National Bank Dimitar Radev and the head of the Audit Chamber - Dimitar Glavchev.
Today, the deputies of the governor of the BNB and those of the head of the Audit Chamber went to the presidential institution. None of them expressed a desire to take the post. The list from which Radev can choose has been reduced to a minimum after the ombudsman Diana Kovacheva was elected as a judge in Strasbourg, and her deputy Elena Cherneva - Markova resigned.
