The Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, convenes an extraordinary session of the Parliament. This is clear from an official announcement.
The National Assembly must fast-track the changes for the caretaker prime minister in several basic laws.
The only item on the agenda is a second vote on the bill to amend and supplement the Law on the Bulgarian National Bank, submitted by the people's representatives Temenuzka Petkova, Yordan Tsonev, Anna Alexandrova and Hamid Hamid on March 29, 2024
We would like to remind you that the changes in the Law on the BNB provide that the persons who are appointed as acting prime minister will enjoy unpaid annual leave for the time they are in this position, and after their release, they will continue the mandate for which they were elected.
An extraordinary session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on April 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
