The police in Germany mixed up a complete absurdity with a car taken from Bulgaria

The German authorities do not recognize the company as the owner of this car

A man from Troyan became a detective by accident. Milen Dimovski managed to find out to whom his confiscated car was returned. The car was confiscated due to suspicion that a crime was committed with it in Germany.

The man bought the car legally, registered it at the traffic police and soon the police came. The car was returned to Germany, and Dimovski tried to buy it again from its alleged owner. So one legitimate car owner sought out another supposedly legitimate owner to buy the same car twice. It turns out, however, that the German police do not recognize as the owner the one to whom the stolen car declared wanted and found in Bulgaria was returned.

„I went to Germany twice. The first time the police told me they were not looking for the vehicle and they had no problem with it. I returned to Bulgaria, I told it to the Bulgarian police, Dimovski says.

As soon as he found the car, the man showed renewed interest as a buyer. "I contacted the company that owned the car," he says. However, when he met the man who allegedly owned the car in Germany, Dimovski was amazed.

„I went with a platform so I could put it away. When it came time to pay it, I asked them to give me documents, to see if they were in order. He told me that there are no such documents”, says the man from Troyan.

Then the alleged German owner asked to get documents from the local police, but they told him there was no way. They asked him to dictate the number of the chassis and explained to him that this car had gone for export to Bulgaria.

„The manager of the company told me to go in a week. There would have been no problems, he would have fixed everything and I would have been able to buy the car again, Dimovski says.

A merry-go-round of talks and negotiations followed, but the Bulgarian hit a snag.

„It's been a month, it's been two. The German authorities do not recognize the company as the owner of this car”, the man explains.
