Residents of the Plovdiv village of Brestovitsa are organizing another protest because of the water quality in the Plovdiv village, which for 4 years is contaminated with manganese and is unfit for use, BNR reported.

At the end of the working day, they will block the Ring Road of Plovdiv and Peshtersko Shosse.

The people of Brestovitsa declared as early as last week that they could no longer live this way

New water sources have been found. However, the water supply pipe must be built, and then 27 kilometers of water supply network. For this purpose, 25 million BGN are needed.

„We have not only projects, but also selected contractors, there is simply no funding”, explains the mayor of Brestovtsa, Pavel Mihailov.

“The state must play its role. Otherwise, the protests will continue in the capital, said the civil association "Life for Brestovitsa".
