„Dear people's representatives from GERB, do not involve the BSP in your muddy Pehlivane struggles with PP and DB. It gives me the confidence to tell you – don't involve us in these quarrels of yours.“ This was stated by BSP leader Cornelia Ninova from the parliamentary rostrum, quoted by the press center of the centenary.
„I speak as the only person in Bulgaria who refused to become the Speaker of the National Assembly. This offer was made by Boyko Borisov to me and I refused back in 2018, because I think that the management model of GERB is the great evil for Bulgaria and Borisov is this evil. Therefore, since then and until now, we have refused any cooperation with GERB”, Ninova pointed out.
In her words, there were many differences between the government of Kiril Petkov with the participation of BSP and the government of PP-DB, supported by GERB.
„I want to distinguish one – we knew very well who was responsible for what: Ministry of Economy and Industry - of BSP, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy – of BSP, Ministry of Energy – of ITN. Your mistake now is that for 9 months you cannot understand which minister belongs to whom - is Kalin Stoyanov of PP, is he of GERB, whose is it“, emphasized Kornelia Ninova.
“And as the then Deputy Prime Minister, I very dignified stand before you and the Bulgarian people and say that in 9 months we achieved first place in industrial production in the EU. Where are you now – in 19th place. BGN 20 billion social program, thanks to BSP, which reached from the baby to the oldest person. This is the responsibility of the BSP in Kiril Petkov's government. So, arguing with these facts of the past and present, I will not allow you to involve the BSP in the games, manipulations, backstage and schemes of the parallel state. Because our goal in the last 10 years has been to fight this parallel state and this goal continues, she added.
