This was said by the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Kalin Stoyanov, at the beginning of the National Conference on the upcoming elections on June 9. It takes place in the building of the Main Directorate of the National Police. Six warning laws have been drawn up from the Ministry of the Interior (MOI) Act. No pre-trial proceedings have been initiated, the minister added.
A guiding principle in the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the affirmation of the rule of law and interaction with civil society. It is our responsibility to guarantee security and the preservation of public order, for the smooth running of the elections for the National Assembly and members of the European Parliament, commented Stoyanov, BTA reported. It is important to create an optimal organization for the implementation of the main tasks ahead of us in the period of preparation and production of the elections, he added.
