Asen Vassilev lost the case he was leading against Delyan Dobrev for BGN 250,000 This is what "Focus" from a secure source.

We remind you that the former Finance Minister led a case against the GERB deputy and chairman of the Energy Commission.

In his reasons, Vassilev had indicated several reasons - mainly Dobrev's television appearances, in which he mentioned the former finance minister and commented on topics and actions that directly affect him. Other examples mentioned in the document are publications on the personal profile of Delyan Dobrev and speeches from the parliamentary rostrum.

The topics that are affected are related to "Lukoil", "Jemcorp", drawn debts in favor of the state, "the levy for a liter of fuel", the derogation, "Litasco" etc.

However, the court rejected Asen Vasilev's claim and now he has to pay BGN 18,000 to Dobrev for court costs before the current instance.

The decision is subject to appeal before the CAS within two weeks.

"Asen Vassilev is suing me because he felt offended... And do you know what is written in the complaints - he has gained weight! Tired of me criticizing him. And because he gained weight, he wants 250 thousand BGN compensation. But when I look at the parliament, I don't see a single one who hasn't put on weight. I don't think that his weight gain is due to my political attacks on him", Dobrev commented some time ago on Asen Vassilev's wishes to condemn him.
