Today is a day for reflection before the elections for the National Assembly and for members of the European Parliament on Sunday, BNR reported.
The election campaign ended at midnight.
Until the end of election day at 8 p.m. on June 9, campaigning for a party or a candidate is prohibited. Sociological agencies must not publish public opinion polls on the occasion of the elections in any form until the end of the election day is announced on the territory of the country, according to the Electoral Code.
On the day of the vote, it is prohibited to place campaign materials of parties, coalitions and initiative committees in the election premises, as well as at a distance of less than 50 meters from the entrance of the building.
The local authority has the right to prohibit the sale of alcohol on the territory of the municipality.
Today, the voting premises are equipped with everything necessary - ballots, machines, voter lists, screens, materials to help voters. The members of section commissions receive the materials according to the schedule.
In more than 9,300 of the sections in our country, there will be a voting machine, which will be installed by technicians of the Ciela Norma company.
Machines are being tested. If a problem occurs with the devices that cannot be fixed, the CEC is notified. She will make a decision that in the relevant section voting will be by paper ballots only.
Voting machines are under constant police protection from their removal from the warehouse to the installation and sealing of the sections, after which they are also guarded by the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
