A man from Blagoevgrad was admitted this morning to the intensive care unit of the general hospital in the regional city after being bitten by a snake.
The 47-year-old man went for mushrooms on the moors above the "Elenovo" district. in early days. Shortly before 07:00 he was bitten on the arm by a snake.
He was placed in the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care (ICU) for observation.
This is the second case of snake bite in Blagoevgrad. Just ten days ago, a 20-year-old woman was bitten by a snake in Kresna, but on the leg.
