Too big a decision made in a rather unprincipled way. Thus, the capital's mayor Vasil Terziev commented on the change of directors of municipal companies to BNT.
In his words, he and the PP-DB-Save Sofia group are fighting for transparent and fair competitions in the next 3-4 months.
"It affects all Sofians. They look at the mayor and the administration and ask what is going on with heating, why the repairs are of poor quality. The answer is that all these 6 companies, they have a relation to the quality of life of all Sofians and what happens to these several billions per year that pass through these companies - whether they are invested for modernization. This is our money, and when you have a fight between two camps - one says we don't want to keep it, and that's extremely convenient," Mayor Terziev also said.
As positive things that Terziev's team has managed to do since the elections, he noted:
"Positive things that have been done - we got the waste plant back on its feet, cleaning, mowing, landscaping, anti-graffiti, digitization efforts. We are working for transparency," added Vasil Terziev.
According to him, the problem behind the organization of the movement has turned from a relatively small one into a bigger one.
"For the organization of movement - we are looking for the best solution, it is complicated, everyone underestimated how far we will go. From a relatively small problem, heavily politicized, we created a bigger one. The solution is a bit more complicated. These are intellectual challenges, we will not put up a solid fence. I can say that I have not been fined, nor will I be fined.
