The disintegration of the parliamentary group of “Velichie” no surprise. There were indications that we would break up already in the pre-election campaign. Independent MP Darin Georgiev, who was part of the now defunct parliamentary group of “Velichie”, commented on this on bTV.
On political topics, Darin Georgiev said that he will submit a draft decision for the return of the old provisions from before the constitutional changes, since the Constitutional Court is taking too long with its ruling on the reform of the supreme law.
If the responsibility must be transferred to President Radev, let him at least choose the people he wants to work with, Georgiev pointed out.
According to Georgiev, the biggest problem is that no political party wants to form a government and each is running away from responsibility.
Regarding the activity of the “Historical Park” Georgiev said that “a cult of the personality of Ivelin Mihailov is preached there.
He preached the understanding that people should not go to universities. They are forbidden to study there. The education that “gives“ he, in his opinion, is quite enough and no one should be excommunicated from his dogma, explained the independent deputy.
According to him, every new follower of his was overwhelmed with promises of wealth, but the only one who got rich from the fraudulent schemes was only Ivelin Mihailov.
In practice, Mikhailov controls their destinies, because they are financially dependent on him. They give him some large sums, and in return Mihailov promises them that he will invest them in some project and thus increase their profit, but nothing of the sort happens. What happens to the money Mihailov takes from these people is the subject of an investigation by the temporary commission, Darin Georgiev also said.
From what Georgiev shared, it also became clear that the “Velichie project was used solely for the selfish purposes of Ivelin Mihailov, indicating that Mihailov took advantage of the authority that Nikolai Markov had among the people to enter the parliament.
