"We are people's representatives who took an oath in the name of the Bulgarian people. A political crisis that follows a constitutional one requires solutions now and today, not tomorrow. I appeal to the deputies to sign the proposed draft amendment to the Constitution. So far, six MPs who are not members of a parliamentary group have signed. I am waiting for the signatures of another 54 deputies. This is how we will return the Constitution to its normal and predictable existence," she announced.
"With the draft amendments to the Constitution, we are returning the old situation - from before December 23, 2023. We are taking the initiative to correct what has been done," said the deputy, speaking about the curtailed presidential powers.
