New precedents are emerging in our electoral system. It is the CEC's right to decide what instructions to give. There is no way that the abbreviation DPS can be present in both formations.
This is what Rumen Hristov from GERB-SDS said in the program "The Day ON AIR", commenting on the last session of the parliament and the situation in the CEC.
"Hanging in the air. When we were all against BSP, where was DPS, Dogan? Then we called to stand together, to be united. Now these appeals are his right. I am not afraid of Peevski, I assume that the other colleagues from GERB-SDS are not afraid either. The dependencies in the DPS are more important, but it is not our job to interfere in the activities of another formation", Hristov pointed out to Bulgaria ON AIR.
Ivaylo Mirchev asked the chief prosecutor to request Delyan Peevski's immunity.
"Forming a government tied to a claim of immunity is very frivolous. If we form a government, we form it to govern Bulgaria. There are so many challenges, you can't focus on one person. I didn't sit on Mr. Peevski's lap, I didn't drink greasy coffee in Mr. Peevski's office, I don't talk to Mr. Peevski every other day. Let's look at the policies we will follow and the program we will implement," he insisted.
"Things that could have been done were not done. We as a society must realize that the majority of the water transmission network is 50-60 and even 70 years old. The amount that needs to be set aside is huge, but we need to start investing. We are underfilling the reservoirs. Most of the dams are silted up. A lot of billions will be needed - at least 20-25 billion," Hristov emphasized.
The government is a political body and we are for bright political figures who are responsible, he said.
"Let, if it comes to a coalition with "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB), to propose their important political figures. A government of shared responsibility. When it is a shared responsibility, we must know the representatives of PP-DB, the representatives of GERB-SDS. It will not be easier in the 51st Parliament, it will be more fragmented. The systemic parties are the serious parties that have a solid electorate," he is emphatic.
According to him, the interior minister is overexposed, and the task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to protect the sections from provocations and if it detects attempts to buy votes - to prevent them.
