Unfortunately, after the decision of September 9, BSP is now a party controlled by Borisov and the new beginning of DPS. And here is the big worry. Very soon after October 27, people will be convinced. BSP will be used as a crutch – the dream of the oligarchs in the BSP. Because theirs will go away, and the BSP will be toothless, allegedly the opposition, Chenchev said, stressing:
„The difference: I will remind you that it was not Ninova who went to secret meetings around the NDK to make secret agreements – Zafirov went. Without asking the collective bodies. „We will not participate in other lists, of other parties. All these insinuations being made are deliberate – for Cornelia Ninova, for Georgi Svilenski, for me. If we were fighting for posts – perhaps we would be in the configuration offered to the socialists now. But we are not there, Chenchev said. And he continued:
„They are all fake – and the unification and the way they got there - through bogus National Councils without a quorum. On the last one, the attendance sheet was signed by people who were excluded, people who are not members of the National Council – only to have a quorum. And this same National Council, canceled a decision of a congress – unconstitutional“.
Chenchev asked a rhetorical question: “They are unifiers, aren't they – why do they switch off?“
„I will now, from your studio, go to two party conferences – because I am invited, because the socialists do not recognize my exclusion, because we have been together and because I can look them in the eye. I did not lie to them or betray them. Will they be able to – the current self-imposed through 50 people in the National Council leadership? Ninova has over 200 nominations from the country, we with Svilenski - over a hundred. They can't take that away from us – yes, they can erase them, as they are doing, but they cannot erase the voice of the socialists”, the people's representative was categorical.
„They threw all the blame on Cornelia Ninova for the losses. But the socialists know that Gutsanov has 5% in Varna. That Zafirov is local 5 times from the “bad“ Nineveh in 5 areas to be a leader. Last went to Haskovo – The BSP did not get a mandate, it got 5% and shortly after there were local elections in which the BSP fell to 3%. This is the result of Zafirov's leadership there”, Chenchev said in response to a question in the studio.
And more about the processes in the BSP: “Who split the party? Stanishev and Parvanov. Did Parvanov go to play against BSP? Now if I take you to one or two areas, for example Etropole – a frantic fight in the last local elections of the current mayor with the ABV candidate, former head of the NSO under Parvanov. And now they, the two of them, must be in a united left”, stated Chenchev and continued:
„Krasimir Yankov, member of the Executive Bureau - made a party, left the parliamentary group. Parvanov – before that. Manolova – how many parties did you change? That she embraced the mega-right just to be in parliament. Doncheva – said he would not be an MP. Not only was he a member of parliament, but he also became the deputy speaker of the 45th parliament.
In the conversation about the left: “Stanishev comes out and says – BSP forgot the left. And the free textbooks, and the free kindergartens, and the aid for young families? And the entire large-scale social program that we implemented as a team of Cornelia Ninova?“, Chenchev reacted and added:
„We wanted to have a conversation about the left and what is the modern left. And if you remember the congress, which, on the proposal of Tasko Ermenkov and reported as a decision by Atanas Zafirov, excluded socialists – this congress had to decide what the modern left is for us: to defend genders, to have new policies on taxation. It did not take place on purpose. This goal led to this end today”, concluded Ivan Chenchev.
