The former director of the theater in Razgrad Levon Manukyan posted his bail of BGN 50,000. She was imposed on him as a measure of remand in the case of the financial drain on the cultural institution. This was reported to NOVA by the state prosecution.
An investigation has been opened against Manukyan for an official crime. According to preliminary data of the investigation, more than 900 thousand BGN were siphoned from the theater in Razgrad through the fictitious appointment of 41 employees at drastically inflated salaries of 25 thousand BGN each. Four people were initially arrested in the theater scheme. All have now been released on various cash bails.
