According to her, Borisov cannot make any more compromises, otherwise he will lose his party.
"The idea of an equidistant prime minister is complete nonsense, because there is no way to measure it. The relations between GERB and PP-DB became even more strained. This indicates that a full stop should be made. When a coalition is formed, the names are common. But the leader is the first. There is no way we can make Borisov and GERB make any compromises. That's why Borisov is so decisive, he has no other choice, Veleva believes.
According to Stoicho Stoichev, the possibilities for a coalition government have not been exhausted. Nothing much changes in these elections, according to Prof. Georgi Lozanov.
There are two big battles - one was between "Revival" and "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" - the battle for second place. It is historic, a battle for the orientation of the country. For the first time, someone allowed himself to campaign for BRICS. If a government is not formed now, the next government may already be for BRICS, pointed out Lozanov.
The second battle is between the two DPS. Will Peevski have that key place that he occupied until now. He is relieved of the power he had. DPS is not behind him in this categorical way. Perhaps he will continue to have an influence in the life of the authorities in the country, he added.
I don't see any other solution other than a minority government proposed by GERB. There is no way there can be a coalition - because Delyan Peevski's DPS should also participate there, which is one of the definite red lines for the PP-DB, Lozanov believes.
