Genoveva Petrova (Alpha Research): Bulgarians are more worried about the war in Ukraine than about the introduction of the euro

According to her, the only reasons that could be sociological data, but are not, are a series of fake news related to the introduction of the euro

“The meager motives when presenting the proposal concerned the concerns of Bulgarian citizens. According to our research from recent months, the most significant concerns are not related to the introduction of the euro. They are more worried about the war on the roads, about prices, healthcare, even the war in Ukraine was more worrying than the introduction of the euro“.

This was commented by Genoveva Petrova from “Alpha Research“ in the program “Face to Face“ after the central news broadcast.

“The decision not to consider the president's proposal in the National Assembly is in line with the political climate there. Most of the parties took positions that there are no grounds for holding this referendum“, Petrova also said.

According to her, the only grounds that could be sociological data, but are not, are a series of fake news related to the introduction of the euro.
