The National Council of "There is Such a People" (ITN) is convening a National Conference on May 17, the political party announced on its website. The planned agenda includes the election of the chairman of the ITN, the adoption of a new statute, as well as the election of the Executive Council and the Arbitration and Control Commission at the proposal of the chairman.
The members of the Executive Council of the political force, the regional coordinators, the members of the parliament from the parliamentary group, the mayors of municipalities, and the MEPs from the party have been invited to participate in the work of the National Conference.
We recall that initially the highest forum of the ITN was supposed to be on January 18 this year, but due to the negotiations for a government, the conference was postponed. At that time, the deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of the ITN Stanislav Balabanov explained to the media that they are a party of a leadership type and, as long as Slavi Trifonov is interested in engaging in politics, it will exist. "Categorically yes" - this is how he answered the question of whether Trifonov will again be the chairman of the ITN.
