The Health Insurance Fund and the Bulgarian Medical Association will sign the annex to the National Framework Agreement for Medical Activities today, BNT reports.
Although the state allocated 5 million leva to the Health Insurance Fund's budget for biomarker diagnostics of patients, this year the specialized tests will not be covered by the fund. The reason - a change in the regulatory framework, which has not yet been made.
Otherwise, there is no change in the prices of clinical pathways in the framework agreement. However, the fund will pay more money for children's examinations and outpatient care. There is also a relief for patients when issuing referrals for mammography and breast ultrasound. They will be valid for a period of 2 months, not like the other referrals, which are valid for 1 month.
