Smilov: Borisov presents Peevski as a natural disaster, but the situation is not like that

No corruption act has been committed. Maybe there is preparation for this

I do not expect anything special to happen with the vote of no confidence in “Vazrazhdane”. Mathematically, the result will not come out. This is a continuation of the party's obviously long campaign against the euro. These are signals that are read from the outside, however, and it does not look pretty at this historical moment for such things to happen. However, political interests are sometimes stronger than national causes. This was stated by sociologist Evelina Slavkova to “This Morning” on bTV.

”Borisov presents Peevski as a natural disaster that must be taken into account. The situation is not like that – Peevski is his choice for the majority. He had two options – PP, with whom he stopped talks, and Dogan's people. I don't expect any surprises from this point of view, I expect Peevski to support Borisov”, believes political scientist Daniel Smilov.

According to him, Bulgaria fulfilled the criteria for the eurozone with governments with Assen Vassilev's fiscal policy, with participation in some GERB cabinets, in others – not.

„An act of corruption was not committed. Perhaps there is preparation for this. This recording contains highly worrying things and they should be investigated. We had a disproportionate reaction from the party – the leader resigned. There is a particular focus of the prosecutor's office on opposition parties”, he commented on the turmoil in &ndquo; We continue the change”.

„The election of a new party leadership is key to resolving the crisis in the PP. There is also another point – tension is visible between the DB and the PP, perhaps since the time of the assembly. "Now there is a possibility that DB wants to be on par with PP," Slavkova also said.
