For almost a month, the residents of the Kyustendil village of Chetirtsi have not had a drop of water in their taps.

"We haven't had water for a month or two now. Not a drop comes. And we wonder where it comes from, what it is, what to do. I'm only 150 meters from the reservoir. We're looking for an explanation, Stefan Dzhonev told BNT.

"We called. I called the governor, who is the regional governor. The director of the water supply company - Kyustendilska voda. And nothing. They only promise and lie. For me, in the 21st century, they shouldn't have technicians who can see if these pumps are there, where they are from, what they are, alarms, taps. They should fix them. This well that is here is in the village, in the village of Chetirtsi, not in Nevestino. A small pump is working for Chetirtsi. Let's say it's not enough. This pump that is for Nevestino, why don't they put it here, for Chetirtsi?", asked Stefan Dzhonev, quoted by BNT.

"We pay for water without having water, we pay for air", a resident of Chetirtsi is angry.

People are threatening to protest next week if urgent measures are not taken.
