The public procurement for ten new buses to Vitosha has failed. Two participants have appeared, one of whom was removed for formal reasons. This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by the municipal councilor from the PP-DB Simeon Stavrev.
"The management of the Sofia Autotransport has not managed to organize it adequately. Soon, most likely, we will not see new buses to Vitosha. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get on by car. The current 10 buses remain. If one breaks down, the travel intervals will become even longer,", Stavrev added.
This management of the Sofia Autotransport has made a large number of public procurements with one participant, he specified. The Sofia Municipal Council appointed this temporary management, so it bears 100% responsibility, the councilor believes.
"In this case, Mayor Terziev's team has no control. There is no accountability, no feedback from the management for other public procurements, which look quite strange. They bypass the Sofia Municipality, which must issue them a construction permit, commented Stavrev about the case with the Simeonov lift.
"Without the Sofia Municipality, they cannot replace the lift, but nevertheless they are turning directly to the Municipal Council. There will be no lift soon. If they really intend to replace the lift, they should work with the Municipal Council. If they don't want to, they should give up this facility!", added the municipal councilor.
