Ivan Hristanov is the other outspoken critic, not to say a sworn enemy of the Borisov-Peevski model, who is receiving a promotion

The first reading of the caretaker cabinet announced today by Andrey Gyurov is related to the failure of the prophets regarding the personal composition of the cabinet. If someone led them by the nose consciously, then they have achieved great success.

The shock of the fact that Gyurov chooses as his Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice the prominent critic of the status quo in the field of justice, lawyer Andrey Yankulov from the Anti-Corruption Front, was felt the moment he said his name. I heard “uuuu”. The cameras did not show the source of the vulgar reaction, but the sound picture from the last seconds, before the live broadcast was interrupted, gave reason to assume with a high degree of confidence that it was one of the most prominent hysterical mouthpieces of Peevski's PIG agency.

A surprise for those who have so far referred to their "informed sources" is the appearance in this government of Korman Ismailov, a young and charismatic (like few of his other former party members) former prominent member of the MRF, equally critical (to put it mildly) of both Dogan and his creation Peevski. It is not so important that Ismailov will be the Minister of Transport, but that he will be highlighted as a personal alternative to the cancerous education of the DPS in all its metastases.

Ivan Hristanov is the other outspoken critic, not to say a sworn enemy of the “Borisov-Peevski model”, who has been promoted from Deputy Minister of Agriculture in the recent past to Minister. He will have the opportunity to prove himself as Hercules, ready to clean up the corruption Augean stables in this important department, as he has been claiming for years in his media appearances.

Frankly speaking, the director of the Sofia Philharmonic, Naiden Todorov, also sounds unexpected with his agreement to return to the role of acting Minister of Culture. Hopefully, the surprise will be a positive sign for cultural figures who are strongly and justifiably irritated by the way the state treats them, allocating cultural expenses in the budget that are …below zero (i.e. an amount that starts with zero on the expenditure side of the tax).

Well-known individuals with a managerial, expert profile and their own biographical weight (including before our allies) are Nadezhda Neynski, Traycho Traykov and Yulian Popov.

The retention of the post of Minister of Defense by (General) Zapryanov puts an end to speculations about a trend towards increased skepticism towards NATO at the top of the state. She was among the few time-proven Euro-Atlantics in the previous government and there is no reason to assume that she will expose herself...

Iliyana Yotova, in her role as host of the short show to hand over the mandate, relied on improvisation in her speech, which speaks of her high self-confidence. She stumbled linguistically with the statement that “we will hear in a moment” the ministers, wanting to say that she was talking about their names - this is a bit like the widespread appeal of television presenters to viewers and listeners of the hotline “turn down the TV”.

There is (was) no “Radev's hand” in this picture, as we might have suspected. This fuels the hypothesis that Iliyana Yotova is preparing for the role of an independent figure, stepping out of the shadow of her former boss. Unless...

Unless Radev and Yotova have divided their roles between the good cop and the even-better cop on the front of being liked by the widest possible audience.

The absent, but most important factor from the brief scene, is the collective incentive to form a cabinet with such a profile, respectful in a personal sense. This is the Citizens factor, who won the right for Gyurov to select ministers who, in terms of quality, close to the Citizens' requirements, are categorically superior to the silent letters of the Borisov-Peevski cabinet, named as an attempt to deceive the "Zhelyazkov Cabinet".

I can only sympathize with those who were unpleasantly surprised and recommend that next time they not trust so unreservedly those who manipulate them with controlled leaked information in order to deceive the public.

The disgusting readers do not visit Peevski's websites, but I promise them that I will keep them informed about the hysteria that is already pouring into them in connection with the composition of Gyurov's caretaker government. Simply put, the best way to get a sense of what the owner of the pigsty thinks is to follow the grunting of his wild(ish) pets.
