Two more diplomats were injured in the incident

Three Qatari diplomats were killed in a car accident in Sharm el-Sheikh, Reuters reported, citing two security sources.

“Three Qatari diplomats were killed in a car accident in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt“, the agency wrote.

According to it, two more diplomats were injured. They were part of the protocol service and were heading to the city ahead of the high-level summit.

Earlier, the office of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced that a summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to end the war in the Gaza Strip would be held on October 13, with the participation of leaders from more than 20 countries.

In September, the White House released a 20-point plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. It calls for an immediate ceasefire and the release of hostages within 72 hours.

Hamas and "other groups" must agree not to participate in the governance of Gaza, directly or indirectly.

Amnesty is being granted to members of the movement who support peaceful coexistence and the surrender of weapons. The Israel Defense Forces, however, have no right to occupy or annex the enclave.

The movement agreed to hand over control of the Gaza Strip and said that other issues included in the plan concern the future of the enclave and the rights of the Palestinians, are related to a comprehensive national position and are based on international law. These issues will be discussed within a pan-Palestinian structure that will include Hamas.

The fighting in the Gaza Strip ceased on Friday afternoon. Hamas and Israel previously agreed to implement the first phase of the plan to end the conflict.

The movement agreed to release all hostages and hand over the bodies of the dead, while Tel Aviv agreed to withdraw its troops to the agreed lines and release hundreds of Palestinians from prison, including those sentenced to life in prison for terrorism.

Trump announced that the hostages were scheduled to be released on Monday. According to Ynet, the Israel Defense Forces will control 53% of the territory of the enclave in the first phase and will withdraw its troops from Gaza.

The parties confirmed the agreement. At the same time, Israel's Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir ordered the army to prepare for any scenario, including a hostage rescue operation.
