Russia should never be under the impression that it can achieve a military victory against NATO or any of its member states. This was warned by Germany's Defense Chief Carsten Breuer, quoted by “Reuters“, reports News.bg.

In a speech to the top military leadership in Berlin, he stressed that the Alliance must analyze the lessons from the war in Ukraine, adapt them to its own needs and develop new concepts and structures. "The war in Ukraine is our teacher," Breuer said.

He noted that Moscow had expected a quick victory when it launched its invasion in 2022.

"We must prevent another such error in judgment by Russia. Russia must never assume that it can win a war against NATO or even against a single NATO country," Breuer said.
