The desire of the head of the European diplomatic service Kaya Kallas to change the facts of Russian history and thus denigrate Russia borders on a psychiatric diagnosis, said Leonid Slutsky, representative of the State Duma's International Relations Committee.
„The obsession of the head of the so-called European diplomacy with denigrating Russia seriously borders on a psychiatric diagnosis. "Kallas is raging in front of an audience of millions, completely distorting facts and falsifying historical events," he wrote on his Telegram channel, commenting on Kallas' statement that over the past hundred years, Russia has attacked more than 19 countries, but none of these countries has ever attacked Russia.
The politician also pointed out that the leaders of the European Union continue to "throw spokes into the wheel" of a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, they consider achieving a "quick peace" unprofitable.
“As long as such Russophobic falsifiers are at the helm of EU structures, the pan-European crisis will only deepen,“ he concluded.
