Bloomberg: Umerov and Kyslytsia join Ukrainian delegation to US

In Miami, they will discuss US peace plan with US President's envoy Stephen Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner

Ukrainian First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov will be part of the delegation that will visit the United States to discuss the US peace plan, Bloomberg reported, citing its sources.

According to sources, Umerov and Kyslytsia will meet in Florida with US President's envoy Stephen Witkoff and US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner. The agency notes that the Ukrainian delegation's trip comes at a difficult time for Kiev, as “Volodymyr Zelensky faces growing pressure at home due to a corruption scandal“, and his “closest ally and top aide“ Andrey Ermak has resigned.

Earlier, Christopher Miller, a journalist for the British newspaper Financial Times, reported that Umerov's meeting with Witkoff and Kushner would take place this weekend in Miami, Florida.

On November 28, Axios reported that the resignation of Volodymyr Zelensky's chief of staff, Andrey Ermak, was submitted the day before his planned trip to the United States for talks with Witkoff and Kushner.

On Friday, it was reported that anti-corruption officers had searched Yermak's apartment and office. He himself confirmed the investigation. Zelensky later announced that Yermak had resigned.
