Bomb threat halts operations at Philadelphia International Airport

City police report incident on board one of the planes

Philadelphia International Airport temporarily suspended operations on November 28 due to an incident on board one of its planes, city police reported.

“A short-term suspension of flights was imposed at Philadelphia International Airport. This was due to an incident on board the plane that required the intervention of Philadelphia police. The plane was cleared for takeoff and the suspension of flights was lifted“, law enforcement officials reported.

Earlier, the Federal Aviation Administration announced that Philadelphia Airport had temporarily suspended all takeoffs and landings of aircraft due to a bomb threat. The airport subsequently resumed operations.
