The government is planning an evacuation flight from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for stranded Bulgarians in Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. This was announced to TravelNews by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is expected to be carried out on March 10 or 11, 2026 and to be free of charge for our compatriots. The ministry informs all Bulgarians to travel by land by bus or car to Riyadh.
In close coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Doha and with the assistance of H.E. Ambassador Mustafa Göksu, an opportunity is being opened for transportation from Doha to Riyadh with a bus company to the Turkish Embassy, the Bulgarian Embassy in Qatar announced.
