Col. Douglas McGregor: The war in Ukraine is over, there is no point in giving more money to Kiev

said the former adviser to the Secretary of Defense in the administration of ex-president Donald Trump

Further giving money to Kiev will not sense, since the outcome of the Ukrainian conflict is already predetermined. This opinion was expressed on Saturday by retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, former adviser to the Secretary of Defense in the administration of former US President Donald Trump.

"The war in Ukraine is over, there is no point in sending money there. But what about funding our border?" - he wrote on his page in X.

Bills to provide military aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, confiscate frozen assets of Russia, and impose additional sanctions against China were approved in the House of Representatives on April 20. The volume of the package was 95 billion dollars. It includes, in particular, $60 billion for Kiev, $26 billion for Israel and humanitarian aid for civilians in conflict zones, including the Gaza Strip.
