More than 1,500 people were evacuated from the Bolshoi Theater in the center of Moscow because of a fire alarm that turned out to be false, TASS reported, quoted by BTA , referring to the operational services.
During a performance of the ballet "Raymonda" the warning alarm of the fire safety system has been triggered. People were evacuated for security reasons, the services said. No sources of fire were found. There are no victims or injured.
According to the press service of the Bolshoi Theater, everything is fine and the show has resumed. An eyewitness told TASS that all the spectators were evacuated with the explanation that the performance was being canceled for technical reasons.
