The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced a search for Roman Mashovets, deputy - chief of office of Vladimir Zelensky.

„Roman Vasilievich Mashovets, August 6, 1976. Wanted under an article of the Criminal Code”, the database says. The crime for which he is wanted is not disclosed.

He has held the position of Zelensky's deputy chief of staff since April 2020

In May 2023, the FSB reported that Ukrainian military intelligence officer Roman Mashovets was the organizer of terrorist attacks and the coordinator of preparations for the assassinations of high-ranking officials in Crimea. According to the FSB, the activity of the Ukrainian military intelligence agent network that planned to carry out a series of high-profile terrorist attacks in Crimea has been terminated.
