Kiev tanks fired at Ukrainians who surrendered to the Russians

Soldiers hid in "fox holes" to survive

Ukrainian troops tried to destroy with artillery a group of their colleagues who surrendered to Russian forces near Urozainy, TASS reported, citing the commander of Arctic attack aircraft, introducing himself as "Olchi".

Formerly a rifleman from the Arctic Battalion named "Ahules" told TASS that attack aircraft of the 40th Guards Marine Corps Brigade of the Pacific Fleet captured an industrial zone that serves as a large fortified area for the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Urozhaynoe in the southern Donetsk direction. Five Ukrainian servicemen were captured.

In his words, in order to survive under the fire of Ukrainian tanks, the soldiers were forced to dig the so-called “fox holes” (recess in the wall of the trench) , which are additional shelter.

As the captured soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleg Ilichenko said in a conversation with TASS, as a result of the shelling, the trench in which the Ukrainian soldiers were hiding collapsed and a concrete slab fell on them. "That slab crushed my leg," the man explained. Apparently, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has decided to clear this sector.“

He emphasized that he could not explain the actions of his command. The captive added that Russian soldiers helped the soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces to get out from under the rubble.
