Republic North Macedonia should fulfill the commitments made in order to progress on the way to the European Union (EU). This was stated by the Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev during the meeting of the European Council, the press service of the cabinet reported, quoted by BTA. The Prime Minister brought the subject to the attention of his European colleagues in Brussels in connection with the developments in the Republic of North Macedonia in recent weeks.
Glavchev drew attention to the serious challenges that are emerging in relation to the European perspective of the candidate country for EU membership. The heads of state and government once again emphasized the importance of good neighborly relations, the need for EU candidate countries to strictly fulfill their commitments to the EU and the necessary reforms.
