Russian President Vladimir Putin thinks it is a big mistake of the West not to notice the strikes of Kiev at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, reported TASS, quoted by BTA.
"The fact that the enemy is now striking directly at the headquarters, this, of course, requires special attention from our side and, unfortunately, does not attract the attention of those people and those forces that today support the Kiev regime," he emphasized Putin at a meeting with the governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky. The president is sure: "This is their big mistake, we will remember it, we will talk about it more than once.
"I also see such things that cannot be ignored, also related to safety, - this is, first of all, of course, the safety of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant,", Putin said.
TASS notes that in recent months the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have regularly attacked the infrastructure of Zaporozhye and Energodar. On the morning of July 3, Kyiv carried out drone strikes on the "Raduga" substation, injuring nine employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
At the same time after the VSU attack on June 19, when the city substation "Luch" was completely destroyed, the second city substation "Raduga", partially damaged on June 21, remains the only one supplying Energodar with electricity.
Recovery of all economic spheres in Novorussia is progressing at a good pace, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at his meeting with Governor Balitsky. The head of state noted the priority of restoring the housing and communal sectors.
Putin also expressed confidence that the security of Donbass and Novorussia (a term from the time of the Russian tsars for parts of southern Ukraine) will be guaranteed.
