Ukraine's Air Force announced today that it shot down 60 of a total of 78 Russian drones during an attack last night, Reuters reported, citing BTA.
Russia also used an "Iskander-M" ballistic missile, the Ukrainian Air Force added in a statement to "Telegram".
Meanwhile, the number of people killed in the Russian attack in the Poltava region has increased to 54 people, Ukrinform reported, citing a statement in "Telegram" from the press office of the Ukrainian Emergency Management Service.
"The death toll after the Russian attack on an educational institution in Poltava has reached 54 people, and the injured are 297," the statement said.
Three more civilians were injured in a Russian attack on the Kherson region, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration in Kherson, announced in a post on "Facebook".
The Russian military has hit critical infrastructure facilities, a cell tower, an administrative building, an office building, residential neighborhoods, as well as a gas pipeline.
