Georgian police announced today that they had arrested 48 people during overnight pro-European demonstrations, which were again dispersed with water cannons and tear gas, AFP reported, cited by BTA.
"Law enforcement officers arrested 48 people for disobeying lawful police orders and vandalism," the interior ministry said in a statement.
