Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, who will be on a working visit to Moscow from May 25 to 27. This was announced by the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova during a briefing, quoted by TASS, BTA reports.
„The Turkish Foreign Minister will pay a working visit to Moscow from May 25 to 27. Negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are planned. The two will exchange views on a number of regional issues, with a special emphasis on the situation in Syria, Libya, Transcaucasia and the Black Sea region,“ Zakharova said.
According to her, the meeting will also discuss the prospects for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in the current international situation. The ministers will also consider the schedule for future bilateral contacts at the high and highest levels.
