A 3.9 magnitude earthquake shook the Bolu region near Ankara

The tremor was also felt in neighboring districts, but there were no reports of casualties or damage

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale was registered at 01:13 this morning in the Bolu district, near the Turkish capital Ankara. This was announced by the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD), quoted by the website “Haberler“, reports BTA.

The earthquake was detected at a depth of 8.15 kilometers, and its epicenter was in the district town of Bolu. The earthquake was also felt in neighboring counties, but there is no information yet about any injuries or material damage.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation, urging citizens to remain calm and follow official instructions in case of aftershocks.
